Margot Heiser

Hi, welcome to my page! My name is Margot and I am a 22-year old nursing student at the University of Florida. Before dedicating my undergraduate studies to nursing, I attended a performing arts middle and high school, studying communications and digital media. At first, I considered photojournalism because I wanted to photograph the world around me and bring awareness to cultural issues around the globe. However, as I grew up, it became clear to me that the medium I was using was not the most effective tool for reaching my goals. I realized simply documenting my surroundings was not nearly enough. Rather, I wanted to help improve it with my own two hands, so I decided to pursue nursing. My long-term goal is to work in a Women's Health setting as I am very passionate about women's reproductive health and feel that this patient population deserves to be cared for by a strong advocate, such as myself . I started nursing school with the intent of becoming a certified nurse-midwife and one day, I would love to incorporate birth photography into my career.
Despite changing career paths, my love for art has not diminished. If you are interested in learning more about my work or booking a session, fill out the form below and I will get in contact with you.
